Royersford Free Public Library is a welcoming space full of fun, learning, and discovery for kids, teens, and adults. Whether you’re attending a story time with Mr. Scotty, exploring our wide selection of books and movies, or joining one of our many clubs and programs, we are always here to help you and your family make the most of everything the library has to offer.
Children
Explore all of the exciting programs and resources that we have to offer for kids of all ages!
The Children’s department at the Royersford Library provides a variety of materials, programs, and resources for the education and entertainment of our youngest patrons and their families. From parents helping their kids begin their reading journey to kids finding their favorite chapter book series, our staff are always on hand to help you navigate our collection and find the best programs for you.
Story Times
Bring the kids to one of our many story times at the library with our children’s librarian, as well as special guests from the community! Visit the calendar to see our upcoming story times.
Decodables
Decodable Books are a great way for early and struggling readers to practice phonics skills. Decodable books progress from simple phonics to complex skills, all based on mastery at each level.
Makin’ Music
Mr. Dan visits the library each month to present an interactive program that provides music enrichment and fun with rhythm and movement for children ages 0–6.

Browse our Bake Me a Story picture book collection and companion baking pans! You may check out any of our picture books and also a related baking pan to do a reading and baking activity at home with your child.
Beanstack
Create an account through Beanstack to participate in a variety of reading challenges for adults and kids! Challenges include 1000 Books Before Kindergarten and our annual Summer Reading Challenge.
Clubs
Whether you are interested in Pokémon, Legos, or crafts, we have a club for you! Join us for one of our regularly scheduled clubs for all interests at the library.
Kids Movies
We have a wide variety of movies for kids available in the library! Take home a DVD for family movie night or check out the Kids Roku Streaming Stick that is preloaded with movies for kids and available to check out. Are you part of the Reading Olympics at school? We’ve got you covered! Swing by the library to find this year’s Reading Olympics titles and get a head start on your team’s reading list.
Nintendo Switch
Looking for something to do on a Saturday morning? Bring the kids in to play Nintendo Switch games in the library! We also host tournaments for kids Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Splatoon, and more.
Please be aware that children under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Volunteer
The Royersford Library is always accepting new teen volunteers to assist with programs, craft preparation, cleaning, and shelving. Find the application and details on the website or visit the library for assistance.

Computer Services
Royersford Free Public Library has public WiFi available throughout our building, so come hang out at the library while you get some work done! We also have public computers available to use from the time we open to 10 minutes before close. Public computers are available with or without a library card.
Printing
Public printing is available through our public computers. Printing is black & white and color. Black & white printing costs $0.15 a page; color printing costs $0.25 a page.
We also have a photocopier available for copying, scanning, and printing from USB drives. Copies are black & white only and cost $0.15 a side.
